Inclusion Ireland is hosting an event to discuss and debate the costs associated with having a disability. Speakers will present examples of the direct and indirect costs of having a disability, and compare these to official measurements of poverty, which fail to consider these extra costs. Benefits to the economy and society created by expenditure supports to households and people with disabilities will also be discussed.
